Based at Kinloch Care Centre, Carnoustie.
This job is workstyle 1 – Fixed.
In this workstyle most of your time is spent undertaking the direct delivery of front-line services work. Depending on your role there may be a limited requirement to access a specific council location during the course of the working week if you are not delivering your service at a council location.
We are looking for workers with resilience who have the right personal skills and experience to support our residents. You will provide a service for older adults with varying needs, including physical disabilities and dementia. Duties include ongoing assessment and review of service users’ needs, assisting with daily living tasks, participation in social and recreational activities and responding to emergency situations.
You should have excellent communication skills and have the ability to assess a situation and take appropriate action. Ideally, you will have an SVQ Level 3 in Care / Health and Social Care or have the ability to achieve this.
Our services run 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and the working pattern supporting this. You are asked to carry out waking night duties for which an allowance is payable.
