Care Practitioner – Make a Difference Everyday!
Essential requirements : A driving license and access to a vehicle (please do not apply if you do not drive)
Location: Nottingham, Gedling (NG4)
Pay: £11.60 per hour (£12.30 for weekend shifts)
Travel Pay: 45p per mile + 16p per minute of travel time
Hours:
Morning Shift: 7:00am – 2:00pm
Evening Shift: 4:00pm – 9:00pm
Flexibility to work one or both shifts (split shifts available).
Work 1 weekend out of every 2.In this rewarding role, you'll provide essential care and support to individuals in the comfort of their own homes, helping them maintain their independence and live life to the fullest. From personal care and medication assistance to preparing meals and encouraging social activities, you'll be there to ensure they are happy, healthy, and comfortable.
What You'll Do:
Provide Personal Care: Help with tasks like showering, dressing, and mobility support, ensuring dignity and comfort at all times.
Administer Medication: Support clients with their prescribed medication, following tailored care plans.
Meal Preparation: Cook healthy meals that accommodate specific dietary needs.
Encourage Independence: Support clients in social and physical activities
Health Monitoring: Keep an eye on clients' health and report any concerns
Communication: Build strong, positive relationships with clients, their families, and healthcare professionals
What You Need:
A Driving Licence and access to a vehicle
Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, and every other weekend.
Experience in care or a similar role is a plus, but not essential – full training will be provided.
