Are you a skilled and reliable Handyman looking for a new challenge? Join Brighter Bloom Healthcare Group, a trusted care provider managing multiple sites across the Wirral. We’re looking for a dedicated Handyman to help us maintain and improve our facilities, ensuring they remain safe, functional, and welcoming for residents, staff, and visitors alike.
About the Role
As a Handyman, you’ll work across six sites, including three residential care homes, in collaboration with our existing Handyman. This is a full-time position offering variety and the opportunity to make a real difference by keeping our spaces running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
* Perform general repairs and maintenance across all sites.
* Conduct regular safety checks to ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
* Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff and managers.
* Assist in maintaining outdoor spaces, including gardens, driveways, and pathways.
* Work collaboratively with the existing Handyman to manage workload effectively.
* Maintain tools and equipment to ensure efficiency and safety.
* Drive between sites as required (mileage reimbursed).
What We’re Looking For
* Proven experience in general maintenance or a similar role.
* Knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, and carpentry repairs.
* Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
* A proactive, problem-solving approach and attention to detail.
* A full UK driving license and access to your own vehicle.
* Flexibility to travel across sites as needed.
