Role: Clinical Deputy Manager
Location: Halesowen, West Midlands
Salary: £41,864.31 per annum
Hours: 37.5 hours per week (100% supernumerary*) *May be required to cover shifts as a nurse in an emergency.

Our care home is located on an exclusive residential development near Halesowen town centre. It is a 24-bed care home dedicated to promoting the wellness, happiness, and kindness of our residents. Our focus is on providing care that empowers residents to lead fulfilling lives while maintaining their dignity and independence.
About the Role
Reporting to the Registered Manager, you’ll play a key role in the clinical coordination and leadership of the service. You’ll supervise and inspire a dedicated staff team, ensuring that care is delivered to the highest standard. Collaborating with the local community, GPs, and other professionals, you’ll help create a supportive and enriching environment for residents.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide clinical leadership and coordinate the nursing team to deliver person-centred care.
* Ensure compliance with all regulatory and legislative requirements.
* Oversee the smooth running of the nursing units and liaise with external health professionals.
* Support the Service Manager in recruitment, onboarding, and supervision of staff.
* Lead on infection control implementation and audits throughout the service.
* Act as a role model, fostering a positive culture and ensuring staff are mentored and appraised.
* Address complaints and suggestions in a timely and effective manner.
* Step in as the senior leader in the absence of the Service Manager.
What We’re Looking For:
* NMC-registered nurse with a valid PIN.
* Experience as a Deputy Manager, Clinical Lead, or Senior Nurse.
* Strong understanding of person-centred care and supporting the elderly.
* Proven ability to assess individual needs and create tailored care plans.
* Excellent communication and leadership skills with a commitment to fostering a positive workplace culture.
