New easier way to sign up employees to the Social Care Commitment

The Social Care Commitment is now even easier for social care employers and their employees to sign as whole organisations.

Employers can now sign up their employees without the use of an email address, by electing one employee to be a Commitment Champion. This employee can sign up co-workers and colleagues through one email account and then view everyone’s commitments on their dashboard. It means individual colleagues do not need to have a staff email address or provide their personal accounts in order to sign up.

Signing the Social Care Commitment is a public declaration of commitment to high quality social care. Employers sign the commitment first, then encourage and support their employees to do the same. Whole organisation sign up means that everyone is working towards the same goals and improvements in quality and the Social Care Commitment logo can be displayed on marketing material with pride.

Over 3,000 social care employers have signed the Social Care Commitment, which is supported by the Minister for Community and Social Care Alistair Burt.

The Social Care Commitment can help show you’re meeting CQC standards and can help employees achieve the Care Certificate.
