Analysis of the use of the IMCA (Independent Mental Capacity Advocacy) service in England from April 2013 to March 2014.

This report:

  •     identifies patterns and trends in the use of independent mental capacity advocates
  •     highlights where more can be done so that everyone entitled to advocacy has access to it
  •     includes analysis of the Health and Social Care Information Centre IMCA database
