Wolverhampton open day to showcase careers in health professions

The University of Wolverhampton’s Burton Health Education Centre will open its doors to prospective future students this weekend.

The Institute of Health Professions is inviting aspiring students to its Open Day on Saturday 21 November from 10am – 1pm.

The day aims to showcase facilities the variety of courses of offer as well as providing the opportunity for visitors to explore the facilities, speak to current students about their experiences at the University and ask staff any questions about courses and higher education.

Professor Linda Lang, Dean of the Faculty of Education, Health and Wellbeing, said: “We are looking forward to showcasing our excellent staff and facilities, as well as the many fantastic courses – including Nursing, Midwifery, Paramedic Science and more – that we have to offer.

“The range of courses and quality of teaching and support at the University’s Burton Centre offers great opportunities for students to make informed decisions about careers in health.”
