Skills for Care & Development (SfC&D) have released a new online tool to assist people considering a career in the sector.

A Question of Care: a Career for YOU? is designed to help people find out what work in social care and early years settings is really like, and to test whether they are potentially suited to it.

Do you enjoy seeing people get the most out of each day and achieve what they want in life? This is what a career in care is all about!

It might mean working with

  •     babies and young children
  •     children and young people
  •     adults when they need extra help
  •     in fact people of any age – supporting them to turn their dreams into reality!

The site includes an interactive video challenge to demonstrate what a career in care is like. You`ll also receive a detailed personal profile that tells you if you’ve got what it takes to join the sector.

SfC&D are the sector skills council for people providing social work, social care and children’s services.
