Skills Academy add dementia resource to its online library

The National Skills Academy for Health has launched a Dementia Resource Library for healthcare professionals who work with people with dementia and their carers.

The Library contains hundreds of resources that have been collated from across the sector including articles, reports, videos, e-learning modules, webinar recordings and practical tools.

Among the many topics included in the Library are:

  •     Dementia and the law
  •     Supporting carers and families
  •     Activities to use with patients with dementia
  •     Recognising and responding to distressed behaviour
  •     Environmental design
  •     Local support and activities
  •     Health and well being
  •     End of life care
  •     Environmental design

The Dementia Resource Library is the latest addition to the Academy’s online Knowledge Exchange. Here, registered users stay informed about the latest developments in workplace learning and the healthcare sector via regular news updates, articles, research, webinar recordings, case studies and curated content.
