Qualification survey for management in Scottish adult services

The Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) are looking for industry views on the level and credit of awards (qualifications) for managers and supervisors. This includes:

  • care home services for adults
  • care at home services
  • adult day care services
  • housing support services.

The SSSC are carrying out this work to make sure qualifications are consistent across this part of the sector.

This survey only relates to management and supervisory qualification requirements for these groups of workers and there is no intention to review the practice award requirements in the criteria of managers/supervisors.
