Scottish Gov seek to engage social workers at practitioner events

The Scottish Government and Scottish Ministers are keen to engage with front line social service workers by setting up a series of practitioner events across Scotland. The aim is to enable Ministers and the Scottish Government’s Chief Social Work Adviser, Alan Baird, to engage directly with front line workers from across the diverse spectrum of social services.

The purpose of the events are to:

The events are shaped to support the four strands of the national strategy and will take place in the following locations:

  • Glasgow, 10 June 2.00pm
  • Stirling, 28 July 10.00am
  • Inverness, 25 August, 10.00am
  • Dundee, 22 September, 10.00am
