Social workers urged to contribute to resilience discussion

Frontline Social Workers are being invited to join a University of Stirling closed discussion group to support a piece of research entitled: ‘Exploring the value of a resilience-based approach with young people facing the immediate and long term impact of the life changing event of unexpected early pregnancy’.

Researchers are looking for practitioners to contribute ideas about the ways in which they work to nurture resilience in young people, with a particular focus on teenagers moving into young adulthood. They are specifically looking to hear examples of creative work you have done to promote resilience which you would be willing to share.

They would also like to give you a chance to comment on the suggestions and ideas generated by a group of young people based on their own experiences.
