New look SSKS website set for launch

Social Services Knowledge Scotland website – www.ssks.org.uk – has just re-launched with lots of new helpful features designed to support the sector.

SSKS is a gateway to a wealth of evidence, information and learning resources to support social services staff in day to day practice and learning. You will find information such as articles and books, evidence summaries and audio and visual materials in SSKS.

Here’s a rundown of some new features to make finding and sharing information easier than ever:

• Perform a quick search of SSKS – no login is required to view any thing you find. Quick and easy access to information for your practice!
• Log in with your Athens password* to use new time saving features like Save and Share. Save all your favourite resources to your Resource Space. Email resources to colleagues at the click of a button.
• Request articles not available online through our new partnership with the Health Management Library – creating more opportunities for you to find the information you need.
• Join communities of practice to link up with like minded people and share resources
