‘Mentoring in Regeneration’ project

The Scottish Centre for Regeneration and SCVO are currently developing a project to examine whether or not mentoring is an effective way of sharing knowledge and skills within the regeneration professions in Scotland.
The project aims to identify whether mentoring relationships can have a positive impact on an individual skills, confidence and work practice, and will run from January 2006 – March 2007.
The project is currently looking to recruit up to 25 mentees and 40 mentors.  Mentees will benefit and gain from the confidential support and sharing of ideas with an advisor who has significant experience in a relevant area of work, and can also apply for a £250 grant for resources to support their skills development.
