NI conference to focus on care management challenges

The 2014 Institute of Healthcare Management (IHM) Northern Ireland Conference is due to take place on Friday November 21 at Mossley Mill, Newtownabbey.

The conference will focus on the reality of the everyday challenges facing health and social care managers in Northern Ireland to-day – to deliver an ambitious transformation programme, be innovative whilst doing ‘more with less’.

The maintaining and improving of quality in a climate of serious financial pressure is omnipresent and the conference will offer learning from other health and social care systems.

This conference offers insights into:

  • The changing demands for HSC leadership
  • The practice and reflections of experienced managers and thinkers
  • Reshaping services with public acquiescence
  • Maintaining clinical excellence under financial strain
  • Innovating within finite resources
