Hospitals Hit By Nurse’s Work-Stoppages
Nurses embark on their escalated industrial action this morning. 23 general hospitals and psychiatric services across the country will be hit by hour-long work-stoppages today between 11 am and 12 am.
It follows the collapse of talks between the two main nursing unions, the INO and the PNA, and health employers earlier this week.
The union’s 44 thousand members are demanding a 35 hour week and a 10% pay rise.
