New report on adult care produced by the Care Leavers’ Association

The Care Leavers’ Association has just published a new report entitled, Listen Up! Adult Care Leavers Speak Out, based on the experiences of adult care leavers.

The report looks at the experiences and views of 310 care leavers aged between 17 and 78. Topics covered include life in care, leaving care, education, accessing records and reflections on the past.

It covers a wide number of areas including the demographic make-up of the respondents, for example, age, gender, disability, location, marital status, children, education, employment and wage.
