NSPCC publishes guide to clinical presentation of head and spinal injuries in children

The NSPCC has published a new leaflet summarising the practical implications of the latest thinking on the clinical presentation of spinal and head injuries in children.

The six page leaflet is based on a systematic review of all the quality work in the world literature about inflicted head and spinal injuries in children and is published to help health, social care and legal professionals.

It is the latest in a series of information leaflets on aspects of physical child abuse based on a collaborative project by the NSPCC and the Welsh Child Protection Systematic Review Group at the Department of Child Health, Cardiff University.
