Nottingham Sex Abuse Centre Reopens

A Charity which helps childhood victims of sexual abuse is to restart operating in Nottingham thanks to a £10,000 anonymous donation.

Volunteers at the Incest and Sexual Abuse Survivors (ISAS) group were forced to wind up its work in the city two years ago due to a lack of funds.

It had been one of the few centres in the city offering help to both male and female victims.

The money means the charity will be able to operate for at least 12 months. The ISAS helpline can be contacted on (01636) 610313, Tuesdays 9.30am-12.30pm, and Fridays 1pm-4pm.
