SSSC announce information sessions for practitioners in care home services for adults

From 29 March 2013 practitioners in care home services for adults must apply to register with the SSSC or be registered with another regulatory body. To meet this compulsory registration date, applications must be submitted to the SSSC by 28 September 2012.

To help employers, managers and practitioners the SSSC is holding a series of free information sessions across Scotland. The sessions will focus on:

  •     the purpose and process of registration
  •     timescales for registering practitioners in care home services for adults
  •     meeting the qualifications, including qualification criteria
  •     employers and managers responsibilities

There will a short presentation about the registration process, followed by question and answer sessions.

We are holding morning and afternoon sessions in:

  •     Dundee
  •     Perth
  •     Stirling
  •     Glasgow
  •     Aberdeen
  •     Inverness
