A new and exciting opportunity has arisen for a Service Manager to join a group of our services based in Nottingham on a full time, permanent basis (37.5 hours per week).

Reporting to the Area Operations Manager, you will be accountable for the people management and development within the staff team. This is a key role in guaranteeing the quality of our service delivery. You will be self-motivated and have a passion for positive change and the confidence to make difficult decisions under pressure. Having strong interpersonal skills will be essential for this role with the ability to build effective relationships with staff and the people we support.

Your working week is flexible covering 7 days per week. You will need to be flexible with the days you are able to work, as you may need to work an early, late or some weekend work depending on the service needs, also to be part of the manager on call system, also to be able to cover for other service managers in the area when on leave.
Flexibility is key together with the ability to travel to different work locations. You may need to cover the odd shift in case of emergency. This will require you to do some front-line support work with the individuals we support.
To be considered for this role you must have experience and knowledge within the social care sector, working with people with autism, mental health and behaviours that challenge.
You should also have experience leading teams in Learning Disability services. Strong leadership is key to the success of our services. Ensure that the service is fully compliant
Practice Management
Observing staff to ensure high standards are continuously met
Ensure all Health & Safety regulations are met
Liaising with the families and other stakeholders of the people we support
Ensuring the continuous development of the team.
You must be competent in using IT.
