To work as part of the services management team assisting with the day-to-day provision and development of a day service for adults with learning disabilities. This will be carried out in line with Renfrewshire Council Policy and Procedures. 

To implement the aims and objectives of the service under the direction of senior staff.
It is essential you hold SVQ3/HNC Health & Social Care, have experience working with adults with learning disabilities & A.S.D., experience of a management role, including administration & supervision and have effective communication skills. 

IT Skills, leadership Skills, ability to undertake various tasks, prioritise & time manage as well as the ability to directly supervise, motivate & organise various staff groups, including volunteers is also essential. 

You must be able to work under pressure, have a responsible approach to sensitive information and have a flexible approach to working hours/patterns.

Possession of SVQ Level 4 in Social Care/Management, previous Social Work experience and experience of various day service environments are desirable. 
Full training and support will be given to ensure that you are able to maintain the service’s commitment to continuous professional development and improvement.
