Report: Evaluation of children’s social care innovations in Hampshire & Isle of Wight

These innovations include:

• Multi-disciplinary teams working with families with ‘toxic trio’ issues
• Use of volunteers to work with young people on the edge of care and other vulnerable families
• Broader packages of support to young people on the edge of care including key working and substantial positive activities programmes
• Use of ‘Personal Assistants’ (PAs) to enable social workers to spend more time with families
• The development of a multi-disciplinary team to work with young people at risk of sexual exploitation
