We’re hiring for a Support Worker in Penryn
You will support four people sharing their home together in Penryn. Your support will be centred around each person's values, having a range of interests, preferences, abilities and needs. As well as supporting people with their daily living and developing independence you could be enabling someone to do the things they enjoy and love. This could include a stroll through the woods, a cafe to try a new cake, a scenic drive, swimming, to watching fast cars.
There is lots of variety and an opportunity to find a role right for you to make a difference, promote independence, and support people to achieve their personal goals and aspirations.
Working in our friendly team you’ll be supported in your role from day one. All support workers work flexible shifts to provide a 24/7 service to the people we support.
UK manual driving licence required

Sleep-ins paid at £60 extra (basic salary £12.27 to £12.54 p/h)

To empower the people we support to live the lives they want to lead
To develop daily living skills.
Support the people we support to access their communities for socialisation, employment, training or friendships
To contribute to, develop and implement the individuals care plans.
To communicate effectively and professionally with people we support, their family members, and external professionals.
Maintain the health needs of the individuals we support

All support workers work flexible shifts to provide a 24/7 service. Successful applicants for this role will require an enhanced DBS check.
