A vacancy has arisen for an ambitious and motivated Social Worker within our busy Justice service here in Clackmannanshire. This is an exciting time as we continue to take forward our delivery plan, collaborating with national and local partners to drive transformation of Justice Services for our service users and communities, including early intervention initiatives, trauma informed practices, development of accredited and non-court mandated programme work, and strengthening of community partnerships.

You will provide a statutory Social Work Service in accordance with the provisions of relevant legislation and national and local guidelines.
You will have case management responsibilities specific to the Service, compiling reports and carrying out assessments of service user needs and risks, utilising accredited risk assessment tools (including LS/CMI, SARAv3). Delivering effective interventions to individuals and small groups, and representing the Justice Service in multi-disciplinary forums is also a key part of the role.
The successful candidate will be offered regular supervision, training and professional development opportunities. A Degree in Social Work, DipSW or CQSW is essential.
We also offer generous annual leave and flexible working, supporting work life balance, as well as a Local Government pension scheme and employee benefits.
