Job Description
The main purpose of this role is to work as a social worker undertaking support needs assessments with vulnerable adults with mental health needs and their carers:-central to this role are the tasks associated with promoting relapse prevention, enabling independence, self directed support, choice and control.
Risk management and safeguarding will also be key parts of this role together with working as part of a multi disciplinary team based in a Community Mental Health Team.
Membership of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups Scheme will be essential on taking up appointment along with SSSC Registration. Please note successful candidates for the above position will be required to pay for their PVG Membership/or Scheme Checks.
These posts are excepted under Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exclusions and Exceptions) (Scotland) Order 2013 (as amended).
You must possess a Degree / Diploma in Social Work (or Social Work equivalent).
