Weavers Linn is a small, purpose-built residential facility for adults with learning disabilities and autism. It offers personalised care and support within a bright, modern, and safe environment.
To support the high quality of care that our residents enjoy, we are looking for new people to join our Weavers Linn care team, with empathy, compassion, and a drive to make a difference being the main qualities we are looking for.
Working as part of the Weavers Linn care team, you will assist with the day-to-day delivery and development of quality respite and support services for adults with learning disabilities and autism.

It is essential you have previous experience dealing with people with learning disabilities aswell as ability to communicate effectively with service users, relatives, carers, health professionals and other agencies.
Effective literacy, numeracy and IT skills, the ability to record daily care notes and ability to remain alert and responsive to service users’ needs while on duty is also essential.
The success of our current team is down to workers using their own initiative and being flexible, adaptable, and having an interest in working with people who have a learning disability and the capacity to learn and apply new skills.
You will be required to work to a rota, over seven days, which may include early, late, sleepovers and / or night shift.
Possession of an SVQ Level 2 in Care or equivalent is desirable, while the commitment and capacity to achieve this is essential.
