We are looking for an individual committed to delivering excellent housing support services to meet the needs of some of the most vulnerable people across our communities.
This is an exciting opportunity, a newly created role for the purpose of steering our successful housing support service over the coming years, within a challenging context in terms of unprecedented service demands but also with many opportunities, not least a longstanding strong partnership approach within the authority.
South Lanarkshire Councils homeless service has a long track record of success, consistently a top performer against national indicators. We are looking for an individual experienced in managing registered housing support, or equivalent, services to lead our housing support service. The post will involve ensuring continued compliance, as a minimum with all statutory requirements for a registered housing support service but more than that ensuring clients needs are meet within a person centred, caring and supportive service which is self-aware and always striving to learn and improve.
