Site-Based Cleaning Supervisor – Bristol, BS2 Pay Rate: £14.01 per hour
Working Hours: Monday – Friday 4.00pm 9.00pm
Job Summary:
We are looking for a dedicated and hands-on Site-Based Cleaning Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day cleaning operations at our multi storey office building. The ideal candidate will ensure that all cleaning duties are completed to a high standard and that the cleaning team is well-coordinated, motivated, and compliant with health and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise a team of cleaning operatives on-site.
Allocate daily tasks and monitor performance to ensure cleaning standards are met.
Conduct regular inspections and quality checks across all areas of the site.
Provide on-the-job training and support to new and existing team members.
Ensure compliance with health & safety, COSHH, and site-specific protocols.
Report any maintenance issues or hazards to management promptly.
Maintain stock levels of cleaning supplies and request reorders as needed.
Fill in and support cleaning duties when required (especially during absences).
Communicate effectively with site management and the cleaning manager.
Complete required paperwork such as timesheets, checklists, and incident reports.
Requirements:
Previous experience in a cleaning supervisory or team leader role.
Strong knowledge of cleaning practices, health & safety, and COSHH regulations.
Ability to lead, motivate, and support a team.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, or cover absences when needed.
