You’ll have multiple years’ experience working alongside young people who might struggle in other settings and will be used to dealing with a range of challenging behaviours and complex support needs, with a good understanding of safeguarding. You will have to be creative in your approach to young people, enabling them to “open up” and engage in various activities, education, development programmes, and more.

Essential
* Must have experience in working within a residential childcare setting or youth work
* Able to be procatively engage with young people
* Effective verbal and written communication
* Work well within a team
Desirable
* Level 4 diploma in Residential Childcare or equivalent
* Experience working in a team
* High level of professional integrity and honesty
Duties and Responsibilities;
Main Duties:
Direct work with young people, key working and generally taking an active part in providing support on a shift work basis.
Working in partnership with young people, their social worker and carers and other relevant agencies.
Taking responsibility for the upkeep of the home with regard to health and safety.
ensure that we give each young person the greatetest oppurtunity of reaching there full potential.
