Qualified Social Worker – Children in Need – Haringey, London Temporary NEW

We are looking to recruit a Qualified Social Worker – Children in Need within the Social Care industry in Haringey.

Responsibilities include:

Ability to undertake complex social work assessments
Experience of formulating support, protection and care plans
Ability to negotiate with colleagues and partner agencies to resolve differences of opinion
Ability to build effective, long lasting relationships with a range of service providers both from statutory and voluntary agencies
Detailed knowledge of the Children's Act 1989
Detailed knowledge of the "Framework for the Assessment of Children and Their Families"
Attending court and giving evidence when required
Initiating and implementing child protection plans
Managing packages of care
Undertaking parenting and risk assessments

Experience preferred:

Post qualifying experience of working within a statutory Children in Need or Child Protection Team within the UK Social Care industry.

Minimum Requirements:

SWERegistration
5 year post qualifying experience within UK
Enhanced DBS/CRB (we can obtain for you)
Eligibility to work in the UK
