The James Mclean Project is a homeless residential unit providing temporary accommodation for vulnerable homeless young adults 16-21yrs.
The project remit is to provide care and support for vulnerable young people through individual key working meetings in order to provide a comprehensive assessment of need and formulate a robust resettlement plan.
This is a 24/7 service and as such shift working is required including nights and weekends.
Applicants must have the ability to develop positive working relationships with young adults experiencing homelessness as well as being able to respond to disclosures of a personal and sensitive nature and deal with occasional challenging behaviours.
Applicants must also possess excellent verbal, written and communication skills.
Membership of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups Scheme will be essential on taking up appointment along with SSSC Registration. Please note successful candidates for the above position will be required to pay for their PVG Membership/or Scheme Checks.
