Salary: £34,426.94 – £37,365.19 per annum

The post holder would be based in the Galashiels team with a flexible approach to home and office working.
We are an enthusiastic and friendly team with supportive management and regular supervision. We are looking at new ways of engaging with the community and taking a more preventative approach, e.g.: Community Led Support and Integration with Health. We are looking for candidates with transferrable skills to be able to work closely with statutory and voluntary teams to provide the best service for service users. You will need to have the highest professional standards, be emotionally mature, have a strong desire to help others and be able to show dignity and respect to all people. Opportunities for further training such as the grow your own social work training and development are available and supported through the supervision process
HNC in Social Care & Health or equivalent studies, and full SVQ3 in Care or equivalent.
Experienced applicants will be considered, where there is evidence, and agreement to complete relevant qualification within 2 years from appointment
A current driving licence and use of a vehicle is an essential requirement of this post.
