A vacancy has arisen for a Temporary Assessor within the Mobile Emergency Care Service for a period of approximately 6 months. This post involves carrying out assessments for service users who wish to access the MECS Service
You will be responsible for organising their own workload and be able to work on their own initiative. They should be able to work as part of a team and also have the ability to work under pressure.
Applications are sought from candidates with previous assessment experience. Previous experience of working within the care sector would be advantageous. You must have a full driving licence as you will be required to drive pool cars whilst carrying out the duties of the post. Previous experience of risk assessment would also be beneficial.
Knowledge of telecare technology would be a distinct advantage as would a current First Aid certificate.
You will work 30 hours per week, 5 days over 7 days.
If you are the successful candidate, you will be required to gain/maintain PVG scheme membership.
