Deputy Manager | Elderly Care Home
Salary: £50,000 per annum
Location: Cardiff
Hours: 40 hours per week
Remit
Compass Associates are working with a valued client who have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Deputy Manager to work in their fantastic elderly care home based in the Cardiff area. This home provides care for residential and dementia residents. The successful candidate will need to have previous experience of working in an elderly care home environment, working as part of a multi disciplinary team and working within a leadership post in a care home setting such Deputy Manager or Head of Care.
Requirements
– 2 years experience as Deputy Manager or 4 years experience as a Deputy Manager or Home Manager within supported living services for older people
– NVQ Level 5 desirable but not essential
– Elderly/Dementia experience
– Genuine passion for elderly care
Interview Process
There is a 2 stage interview process
Stage 1 – Interview with the Home Manager
Stage 2 – Formal interview with Home Manager & Operations Manager
Location
This role is based in the Cardiff area and is easily commutable from Rumney, Caerphilly, Newport, Pontyclun, Chuch Village, Risca, Pontypridd, Penarth, Cowbridge and Barry.
