Care and Support Worker
Based in Norwich and surrounding areas
£13.20 per hour plus travel expenses
Monday to Friday
Every other weekend
Permanent
Week 1 – 4 days a week for example – M, T, S, S
Week 2 – 3 days a week for example – W, T , F
Shift pattern : 6:30am till 14:00pm or 15:00pm till 22:00pm
As you will be required to travel to clients homes you will be paid £11.44 per hour once you have completed your first call of the day at 30p a mile.
Domiciliary care for service users who have been discharged from hospital.
Duties:
Assist residents with personal care
Help residents with mobility and physical activities, including transferring from bed to chair.
Monitor and record residents' health and well-being, reporting any changes to senior staff.
Maintain a clean .
Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
Follow care plans and ensure the highest standards of care are maintained.
What you will need to be successful:
Able to drive as you will be expected to travel to client’s homes
Flexible with working hours as you will be expected to work alternate weekends and overtime is possible
NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care ( not essential )
Great communication skills
Able to work in a team or alone at times
