Adult Social Care Worker – Part Time
We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and compassionate Adult Social Care Worker to join our client's team. As an Adult Social Care Worker, you will play a vital role in promoting independence, well-being, and health for adults in need of support. This is a full-time position with an hourly rate of £14.41.
Job Purpose Summary:
Assisting with the assessment and care management function to promote independence and protect individual's rights within legislative requirements.Main Duties of the Job:
Supporting adults to maintain their dignity, independence, and control over their support.
Ensuring adults enjoy their rights as active members of their communities.
Overcoming barriers to community living and challenging negative stereotypes.
Supporting carers and families in achieving social inclusion.
Improving understanding and fostering positive relationships between diverse communities.Requirements:
Previous experience working with older people or disabled adults (paid or voluntary).
Familiarity with working with vulnerable adults.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and team-working skills.
Ability to empathise with individuals experiencing social disadvantage.
