The Social Work Admin Service delivers administrative support to the Justice Social Work team within the Argyll and Bute HSCP. We have a part time (14 hour), permanent Admin Officer vacancy within our Justice admin team based in Ardrishaig, which is ideally suited to someone with good organisational, IT and admin skills.

This position is a fixed role and will be based at our Chalmers Street office in Ardrishaig to work alongside the Justice Team based there.

This position will manage the Social Work information entered onto the Visor system which is a national database of high risk violent and sexual offenders.

This position forms part of our public protection response and is critical to supporting local communities and deliver agreed outcomes for people who are within the criminal justice system, whether they be in the community or in custody.

The main responsibilities of this role include management of:

• Minute taking and meeting support
• The Visor Email mailbox
• Statistical information
• Data input and extraction from Visor

Candidates for this role require to have:

• A good basic education
• Excellent IT skills including Microsoft office applications
• Experience of office administration
• An ability to form positive working relationships
• Understanding of confidentiality and data security
• Police vetting at level 3 to access the Visor system will be applied for
