Survey: NSPCC seek feedback to inform children’s mental health campaign
The NSPCC are launching a campaign in the New Year to ensure all children who have experienced abuse or neglect across the UK get the therapeutic support they need. To inform this campaign they are surveying a range of professionals about their experience of local therapeutic services for children they work with who have been abused.

It is vital that every child who experiences abuse has access to the right therapeutic services to help get their lives back on track – this could include Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, counselling or creative therapy, among others. These may be part of CAMHS or could be other services in the statutory, voluntary and private sectors.
The challenges facing CAMHS have been well documented in recent months. But less is known about the UK picture of the range of therapeutic support for children who have been abused. Your input will play a crucial role in informing the NSPCC’s work, as they fight to ensure that every child who has been abused can access the support they need.
The survey closes on 4th December.
