Guidance: SDS financial guidance for Scottish Local Authorities
The Scottish Government has launched guidance for Local Authority financial officers on Self-directed Support.
Launching the guidance, Jamie Hepburn MSP, Minister for Sport, Health Improvement and Mental Health, said: “Along with health and social care integration, Self-directed Support is part of a package of public sector reform policies which require a fundamental shift in culture to be achieved.
“That is why we continue to invest in workforce tools like this Self-directed Support Financial Framework Guidance. This financial management guidance and self-evaluation framework promotes good practice and will give financial managers the confidence to facilitate creative and collaborative approaches to social care and support.”
