Consultation: Adult Social Care Charging Policy – Edinburgh
Changes to social care law mean that people will now have a personal budget based on an assessment of their needs. The City of Edinburgh Council wants to hear views on how they work out how people make a contribution to their personal budget.
The consultation offers some background and examples to help explain what is being proposed.
The Council will consider all views, comments, and write a report for a Council Committee meeting after the consultation closes. This Committee will then recommend whether or not the Council charge for social care should change.
