Report: Children’s experiences of a post-divorce shared care arrangement
Following separation and/or divorce, a growing number of parents jointly share the care of their child(ren) either equally, or at least 30 per cent care by each parent.
Some of these arrangements are consensual and self-organised by co-operating parents, but parents who cannot resolve their disputes privately or through mediation may gain a shared residence order through the family courts.
This article presents a case study of how three white British siblings experienced a shared care arrangement.
