Guidance on the Procurement of Care and Support Services by public bodies in Scotland.

This document provides guidance on the procurement of care and support services in Scotland from external service providers. It applies to the procurement of:

    * social care and support services for children and families, younger people and adults, including older people;
    * housing support services; and
    * social care and support services commissioned by criminal justice organisations.

It does not apply where services are provided in-house, delivered through shared services arrangements between public bodies or secured through grant funding.
