Integrated Practice Guidance for staff involved in the Home Leave Process

The purpose of this circular is to provide updated practice guidance for those organisations and personnel directly involved in the home leave process for prisoners. This circular supersedes Circular No. JD 1/2007 issued on 14 February 2007.

Following pilots to test the use of a Home Leave Report Template and subsequent consultation with interested parties, the multi-agency Tripartite Group and the ADSW Standing Committee have agreed that updated guidance be issued to accommodate the changes agreed to improve the quality and efficiency of the home leave process.
