CWDC Induction Standards supporting guidance for SC managers

Induction is an entitlement for every new worker coming into the children’s services workforce. This guidance has been written for those responsible for the induction process of new workers. In most cases this will be the workplace manager or supervisor. The guidance comes with a Work Book which should be used to plan the induction process with the new worker, and which will state how the standards are to be, and have been, achieved. At the heart of the induction process are the needs and views of the children and young people.
