Greenwich to host open evening on qualifications in Health & Social Care
Expert advice for careers in nursing, health, social care and more is on offer at the next University of Greenwich Health & Social Care Open Evening.
There are two events taking place tomorrow (Wednesday 15 June), at the Avery Hill and Medway campuses, between 4pm and 8.30pm. Prospective students are encouraged to get along and meet expert staff from the Faculty of Education & Health and find out more information about courses and see the facilities.
In the David Fussey Building, Southwood Site at the Avery Hill Campus in Eltham, there will be information on Nursing (adult, child, learning disability and mental health), Midwifery, Paramedic Science, Public Health, Social Work, Social Care, Psychology, Counselling and postgraduate courses. Visitors can tour the campus, including accommodation, take part in interview workshops and get advice on university applications.
The Nelson Building, Medway Campus at Chatham Maritime, will have information about Adult Nursing, Speech & Language Therapy and Paramedic Science courses.

Last year, the University achieved the best quality rating in London for the education and training of midwives, adult nurses and mental health nurses. Children’s Nursing, Learning & Disabilities Nursing, District Nursing and School Nursing were also among the highest rated in the capital.
