Greenwich to host open evenings for health & social care courses
The University of Greenwich have announced details of their next Open Evenings to showcase courses in health and social care.
The events takes place at the Avery Hill and Medway campuses on Wednesday 4 November (both 4pm-8pm).
All prospective students are welcome to come and speak to expert staff in the healthcare field and there will be the chance to tour the campuses, discuss the different course options and see the facilities.
There will be information available regarding programmes based at the Avery Hill Campus, near Eltham, including: Adult Nursing, Child Nursing, Mental Health Nursing, Paramedic Science, Psychology, Social Work and Social Care. Postgraduate courses are also based at this campus.
The Medway event will include information on Adult Nursing, Paramedic Science, and Speech and Language Therapy (postgraduate entry only).
The Avery Hill Open Evening takes place in the David Fussey Building, Southwood Site, SE9 2UG. The Medway evening is in the Nelson Building, ME4 4TB.
Previous open days have been praised for “welcoming staff and students”, the “excellent advice” on offer, and the opportunities for “hands-on experience”. One attendee said simply: “I loved every minute of the whole day.”
