New e-assessments modules and e-learning from Skills for Health

Skills for Health has added e-assessment modules to its e-learning courses to help organisations avoid unnecessary training.

The stand-alone assessments are available for Core Skills Training Framework (CSTF) subjects and will enable learners who believe they already have necessary knowledge of the subject area to demonstrate their prior learning via the e-assessment without having to repeat the training.

The e-assessments can be accessed using a PC, tablet or mobile device which means staff can undertake the assessment at a time and place that suits them.

How to access the e-Assessment modules
  • Current Users: You can log-in to your e-learning account to access the e-assessment modules.

New e-learning courses

Skills for Health has also added two new courses to its e-learning suite: Blood Transfusions and Information Governance.

The Information Governance course is designed to provide healthcare staff with an introduction to the principles of confidentiality, data protection, subject access requests and freedom of information requests.

The Blood Transfusions e-learning programme offers a general introduction to blood transfusions for healthcare staff who are not directly involved in blood sampling, the decision to transfuse, or administering blood transfusions.

You can view the online e-learning course catalogue or download the latest e-learning brochure.
