Bursaries still available for September start MSc Social Work
Bursaries are still available for Robert Gordon University (RGU) MSc Social Work which is enrolling now for September start.
The two year course will introduce you to the values, skills and competencies required for the practice of social work. It provides graduates with the opportunity to train as social workers to the standard prescribed as qualifying level by the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC).
The higher exit option (MSc) is an academic award based on research rather than a professional award, and offers a methodological underpinning for those seeking to move into research or training in social work.
As a graduate of this course you will be capable of gaining employment in areas where a professional qualification in social work is required, including field work, group care, community care and hospital settings in the public, voluntary and private sectors.
RGU have a 97% postgraduate employment rate and ranked as the top Scottish University for social work education by the Guardian Newspaper University Guide 2016.
