Research explores digital capabilities in social care workforce
Within our daily lives, the use and availability of digital technologies is ever growing and in the delivery of social care, it is important to ensure the workforce is appropriately skilled to utilise the benefits technology has to offer to the sector.
Skills for Care recently managed a research programme to develop an understanding of how digital technology is currently used in and by the social care workforce. This consisted of a rapid evidence review, a survey of managers and staff, along with visits to 8 organisations.
The results of the outcomes of the research are available in a range of different formats for you to use:
- Download the infographic which gives an illustrated overview of interesting facts and figures around digital capabilities amongst social care staff.
